OUR CHARITY CENTER

Suryakanya Tapikeshwar

is a registered multi-purpose charitable trust based in the quiet village of Anturli in Jalgaon district, nestled along the banks of the Tapi River. For over two decades, we have been actively serving rural communities in and around Anturli, inspired by the timeless values of Indian philosophy and dedicated to the service of humanity.

"Our mission is to address today’s challenges through the wisdom of the ancient past."

True to our name, which honors the sacred river Tapi, we are committed to helping people reconnect with nature as a path to resolving modern-day struggles. Just as the holy river Tapi is believed to wash away pain (tāap) through her sacred flow, we too strive to ease the threefold suffering of people—physical, mental, and spiritual—through selfless service, insightful guidance, and grounded spiritual practice. Our ultimate goal is to bring peace and well-being into people’s lives.

Our Inspiration

Shri Madhavnath Maharaj

We draw our inspiration from the revered yogi and saint, Shri Madhavnath Maharaj (1857–1936), a spiritual luminary of profound wisdom and depth. Along with his deep spiritual insight, he was a master of Yoga, Ayurveda, Astrology, and Indian philosophy. Throughout his life, he mentored many disciples, initiating them into practices like meditation, Hatha Yoga, and Jnana Yoga

It is widely believed that iconic places of worship, such as the Dagdusheth Ganpati temple and the Lakshmibai Datta Mandir in Pune, were established under his inspiration. While he was revered by kings—including those from Indore and Dewas—his heart was always with the common people. His true mission was to uplift ordinary lives by guiding them on a path of self-realization.

He emphasized awakening the inner strength of individuals through the disciplined path of yoga, rather than relying solely on blind faith. Inspired by the path he revealed, we remain dedicated to serving humanity and nurturing holistic well-being.

Our Guide

Deonath Maharaj

Shri Manohar Damodar Deo, widely known as Shri Deonath Maharaj, is a native of Anturli village in Muktainagar Taluka, Jalgaon District. He is a devoted disciple of Samarth Sadguru Shri Satyanath Maharaj, who comes from the esteemed spiritual lineage of Samarth Sadguru Shri Madhavnath Maharaj.

Academically, he holds a B.Sc. degree, but his heart has been drawn to spirituality since a young age. Guided by the moral values taught by his parents and the spiritual influence of his Guru, he naturally gravitated towards devotional music and kirtan. Instead of seeking a conventional career after completing his education, he chose to follow his Guru’s direction and fully dedicated his life to spiritual service.

His initial inspiration came from the respected kirtankar Shri Mukim Buva (Ramdasi), and his journey in spiritual and social service began with performing kirtans under his guidance.

Spiritual Contributions:

Shri Deonath Maharaj is deeply engaged in spreading the message of dharma through: Kirtans and discourses on Indian philosophy like Upnishads, Ashtavakra Gita, Bhagwad geeta

  • Recitations and interpretations of the Shrimad Bhagavat, Devi Bhagavat, Ramayan, and Shiv Puran

  • Leading annual, in-depth studies of Shri Gurucharitra for over 25 years

  • Organizing spiritual camps and guidance sessions for people of all age groups—youth, elders, and children

Through his tireless efforts, many rural youth have been inspired to renounce harmful addictions and embrace a life of devotion, discipline, and chanting, always carrying the sacred nama mala (rosary of the Divine Name) with them.

Our Literature

Sadguru Shri Deonath Maharaj has contributed significantly to spiritual literature in Marathi. His three-part book series "Naambodh" delves into the deep spiritual importance of chanting the Divine Name and offers practical insights for seekers.

In addition, he has authored another Marathi book titled "Swanandi" , which is based on real-life spiritual experiences and inner journeys.

Through these literary works, Sadguru Shri Deonath Maharaj continues to inspire and guide countless devotees, enriching their spiritual paths with wisdom and devotion.
